Q&A
- How do I know how many grams of protein is from collagen? I aim for 10g of collagen daily and need to know how much is in JI protein powder to meet my goal.
- Thank you for reaching out! At Just Ingredients, we value transparency, though some details are proprietary. Since our Protein Powder isn’t primarily a collagen supplement, we typically don’t disclose the exact amount of collagen. However, our Protein Powders contain 4-5 protein sources: chia seed protein, pumpkin seed protein, pea protein, collagen, and whey protein, with each in fairly balanced proportions. While we’re not able to share the exact amount of collagen in our protein due to it being proprietary, we can let you know that it’s a smaller amount compared to our Collagen Peptides, which contain 10g (10,000mg) of collagen per serving. If you’re looking to ensure you're getting a more targeted or consistent collagen intake daily, we’d recommend adding our Collagen Peptides to your routine.
- Is the protein powder safe for kids age 9-10? Thanks!
- We're really proud that our protein powder is made from all real food ingredients, making it a fantastic choice for different stages of life. If you take a look at the label, you’ll see everything is listed, no hidden ingredients, no added sugars, and nothing artificial. Just clean, nourishing, whole foods from high-quality sources. Our Protein is made from a blend of five different protein sources: chia seed protein, pumpkin seed protein, pea protein, collagen, and whey protein. Many protein powders on the market use only whey, which can be harder to digest. That’s why we chose a mix of five, each in smaller amounts, to support easier digestion and better overall tolerance. We also use non-denatured whey, even people who are sensitive to whey have shared that they’re able to enjoy our protein powder without any issues. If you're looking for a protein option to support your family’s routine, this can be a great fit. And of course, we always recommend checking with your healthcare provider if you have specific concerns.
- Is this good/safe for kids? I’m thinking for post soccer game treats.
