The Just Ingredients Face Serum contains jojoba oil, which is believed to nourish from below the skin surface and might pull toxins out. This action can sometimes result in initial acne breakouts. Consider using a bentonite clay mask to potentially assist in pulling those toxins out more quickly.

The frankincense oil in my face serum is claimed to be healing for the skin. It is suggested to help repair the skin cells. Because jojoba oil is said to have a tiny molecular structure, it is believed to penetrate all the layers of the skin and potentially heal from within. Some individuals have reported that it has seemed to help reduce their scars!

Typically, anywhere from 6 weeks to 2+ months depending on your usage!

There is purported to be such a tiny amount of citrus oils in the serum. It is unlikely that you could get enough exposure to cause photosensitivity. If it is a concern, consider using the oil only at night, or in the morning followed by SPF application.

Q&A

I don't know what a serum is or how this is used in combination with other facial products. For example, is this is facial cleanser, or should it be used after using a facial cleanser? If the latter, doo you have a facial cleanser that should be used with this? I'm trying to understand how this fits in with a facial regime of what suite of products.
We currently don't have a facial cleanser! Our face serum can me used as a hydrating serum much like a moisturizer after a cleansing!
Now that the face serum has Vitamin C, is it still pregnancy / breastfeeding safe?
