  • Paraxanthine: The primary metabolite your body produces after consuming caffeine. Its shorter half-life allows it to clear the body more quickly and may support a balanced energy experience.*
  • Yerba mate: A traditional South American herb that provides caffeine and may support energy and metabolism.*
  • Green tea extract: A source of caffeine and antioxidant compounds that may support mood and focus.*

Paraxanthine itself is not caffeine. It is the primary compound formed when the body breaks down caffeine and is used as an alternative energy ingredient.*

It is included as part of an energy blend that may not be suitable for children, or those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or sensitive to caffeine.*

This beverage contains 100mg of caffeine (or 100mg paraxanthine) per serving, so it is likely that it will affect sleep if taken too close to bedtime. We do not recommend drinking this beverage in the evening or before bed.

"Methylated" refers to certain B vitamin forms that are already in an active, usable state. Our formula includes vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin (a methylated form) and vitamin B6 as P5P (an active form), which support normal energy metabolism.*

"I really enjoyed some of these flavors, and in truth I really felt more energy. I was even able to fall asleep at a respectable time. My biggest gripe is with the packaging, the labeling is plastic around the aluminum can. When the can sits outside the plastic breaks into thousands of tiny little plastic particles. So now we are just having tiny little plastic in our soil while we purchase an item that prides itself on simple ingredients. If packaging changes I will purchase again, but not till then."

Do you use artificial sweeteners in your drinks
We use reb M, a steviol glycoside made from fermented rice.
Are these energy drinks not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women because of they type of caffeine in them? Or just because they have caffeine in them? Or because some of the other ingredients included in the drinks are unsafe for pregnant/breastfeeding women?
While they do contain caffeine, that’s not the only concern. The formula also includes adaptogens and nootropic ingredients (such as herbal extracts and cognitive-support compounds), which haven’t been sufficiently studied for safety during pregnancy. Because of that, we advise avoiding the product while pregnant or consulting with your healthcare provider before use to be safe.
