Paraxanthine itself is not caffeine. It is the primary compound formed when the body breaks down caffeine and is used as an alternative energy ingredient.*

It is included as part of an energy blend that may not be suitable for children, or those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or sensitive to caffeine.*

This beverage contains 100mg of caffeine (or 100mg paraxanthine) per serving, so it is likely that it will affect sleep if taken too close to bedtime. We do not recommend drinking this beverage in the evening or before bed.

"Methylated" refers to certain B vitamin forms that are already in an active, usable state. Our formula includes vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin (a methylated form) and vitamin B6 as P5P (an active form), which support normal energy metabolism.*
