Frequently Asked Questions

Just Ingredients Clear Protein has grass-fed whey protein isolate as the primary protein source. It's sourced from grass-fed cows and carefully filtered to remove most non-protein components.

MCT Oil is used as a defoaming agent to reduce foam and improve texture. While defoaming agents don't have to be listed on labels, we disclose every ingredient. We chose MCT oil because it's a better alternative to the inflammatory oils typically used for defoaming.

Our Clear Protein Powder is made using whey protein isolate that's been carefully filtered to remove most non-protein components. This extra filtration step is what gives the final product its clear appearance, instead of the creamy texture you might expect from our traditional protein powder. It's a great option if you're looking for something lighter, fruity, and different from a creamy protein shake.

The frothiness comes from our ultra-filtered protein formulation, which creates a light, airy consistency when shaken. This is normal and common with clear whey isolates. Letting your drink sit for a minute after mixing will help the foam settle.

Just Ingredients Perfectly Peach is flavored with real fruit. We use no artificial flavors or colors. This flavor comes from organic peaches, organic apples, and organic red guava.

So refreshing!

"Love the protein boost and summertime flavor. I'm a bigger fan of the strawberry slush flavor but am glad I tried this! Great protein to calorie ratio & is a new staple in my afternoon routine."

— Amanda A. (4/5)

Young Adult Approved

"My 25 yr old son wasn’t a fan of most protein powders. He is on his second bag of Perfect Peach Clear Protein. He even buys it himself! If you’re a mom of a young adult you know what a great review that is."

Chefs kiss :u1F90C|type_3:

"I had been looking for a cleaner clear protein, specifically while early in pregnancy. This one is the absolute best! I couldn’t eat much protein in the beginning so this closed my gap a little bit AND it was delicious!"

— K L. (5/5)

This protein powder is so

"This protein powder is so good! Very peachy. Doesn’t taste chalky. I love it in a peach smoothie with banana or avacado and dragon fruit. It’s a big scoop for a serving I think because it has real peaches in it."

— Pomfrey (5/5)

Peach- tastes fresh!

"Always great communication on the order. I like the taste of the peach!"

— Bethany C. (5/5)

It's sour peach

"I'm trying so hard to love one of the clear protein powders but they are not yet my favorite. I love the peaches & Cream protein powder and the peach electrolytes and had such high hopes for this one. But this one is very sour peach flavored. If you like sour - this is for you. But gosh every sip makes your arm hair stand haha It tastes just like peaches just with a sour tang to it."

— Annica (4/5)

So refreshing!

"I add some sparkling mineral water and it’s almost like I’m drinking an Italian soda! I love that it not only tastes great but is also helping me get my daily protein."

— Linda T. (5/5)

Too Much Foam

"I feel about this the same way I feel about all the clear protein powders from Just Ingredients. They are so good! I really love the flavors and I like that they are good quality. However, when you use a frother there is just TOO MUCH FOAM! It's annoying."

— Robin J. (2/5)

So so good

"Love the clear protein! Peach is one of my favorite flavors."

— Ryan (5/5)

Tasty and Light!

"I really like all of the other Just Ingredients clear protein powder flavors, and this is no exception! I love that it has real ingredients, and helps me get more protein in without feeling so full afterwards. It's like a tasty summer drink!"

— Falkinburg (5/5)

Q&A

Are the clear protein powders gluten free?
We’re happy to confirm that our products are certified gluten-free. This means they’re manufactured in a facility that undergoes rigorous testing between production batches to ensure no detectable gluten is present in the final products. That said, we want to be fully transparent: while our products meet the standards for gluten-free certification, the facility may also handle ingredients like wheat, barley, or rye. However, strict cleaning procedures and testing protocols are in place to minimize the risk of cross-contact.
What is fermented Reb M?
Fermented reb M is a steviol glycoside made from rice.  It is a natural sweetener that is about 200 x sweeter than sugar without the bitter aftertaste of stevia.
