Frequently Asked Questions

Most powders rely on whey alone, which gives you one amino acid profile and tends to upset digestion in larger doses. We use five real food sources in smaller amounts for a fuller amino acid range that's easier on your stomach. Whey and pea support muscle, pumpkin seed aids recovery, chia adds fiber, and collagen supports skin, joints, and bones.

Four to five real food sources, depending on the flavor: grass-fed whey, pea, pumpkin seed, chia seed, and collagen. We blend them on purpose, because no single protein covers everything. Together they give a more complete amino acid profile than one source could alone.

It's far less likely to. Most powders use only whey, and a big dose of whey alone is what bothers most people. We use four to five proteins in smaller amounts, plus non-denatured whey with no casein and very little lactose, so even whey-sensitive people tend to do well.

Protein powder is great for those that have a hard time getting enough protein in during a day. Protein, fat, and carbs are the 3 macronutrients our body needs. Some don't get enough protein in each day and a protein powder supplement can help. Do you know how much protein you eat per day?

Perfect For The Morning

"I really enjoyed this protein powder. It's been perfect to put a blender with milk, frozen banana and ice cubes. The flavor of mint and matcha together is splendid and I look forward to getting more in the future."

Heidi J. (5/5)

Matcha Mint fan

"I’m a huge matcha and mint fan and love everything about this flavor except for the aftertaste. It really is filling and tastes great up until the end. Would love to see a strawberry matcha flavor in the future!"

Alessandra L. (4/5)

Surprisingly good

"I was pretty skeptical about this flavor, but I finally decided to give it a try. It's actually really good! It has a strong mint flavor, and I would say a more subtle matcha flavor. Like all JI protein, it tastes great. Definitely recommend!"

Mary C. (5/5)

I've tried numerous proteins and

"I've tried numerous proteins and Just Ingredients seems to be the best I've found. Appears to be clean and it's helpful for digestion and great for on the go!"

Lou P. (5/5)

Like it, don't love it.

"I really like this one I just wish it had more mint flavor."

Kaylee D. (4/5)

Interesting flavor

"This flavor reminds me of the holidays. It’s warm and cozy. I bought it because it was on sale, and I am happy with it."

Candice F. (5/5)

No matcha taste

"It’s good and I do enjoy it, but it lacks the matcha flavor almost completely in my opinion. It tastes almost identical to the vanilla peppermint Christmas protein powder. I make matcha lattes almost daily at home so I think I’ll try to add some of this to it and see how it goes. Giving it 4 stars because you can’t beat the clean ingredient list."

Erica G. (4/5)

It’s good

"This is good. I was just expecting more like a matcha latte. It’s not my favorite. I have to make sure to drink this in the AM or afternoon cause if you have it in the PM it has caffeine in it and can keep you up. I like mint but just not in matcha. I do like the idea of having protein in my matcha though."

Denise P. (4/5)

Matcha Mintcha

"Pretty darn good. Smooth taste. Light mint. I like it."

AMY T. (4/5)

Did Not Like It

"It was way tooooo sweet"
