The Problem With Traditional Greens Powders

Many green powders use mature vegetables.

  • Harvested later in the plant's life cycle.
  • Lower concentrations of key nutrients than microgreens.
  • Conventional field grown for less control with soil variability and contamination.
  • May not undergo rigorous quality testing.

You shouldn't have to wonder what's in your greens.

  1. Soil

    Soil

NASA-grade soil, rich in microbes, selected to help minimize heavy metal uptake.

  2. Seeds

    Seeds

Five microgreens grown under circadian lighting so plants aren't under stress.

  3. Filtered Water

    Filtered Water

High-level filtration, start to finish. Hand watered to help prevent mold.

  4. Harvest

    Harvest

Harvested young, when many microgreens naturally contain higher concentrations of nutrients.

  5. Freeze-Dried

    Freeze-Dried

Freeze-dried within 48 hours to help preserve heat-sensitive nutrients.

More Than Just Vitamins

Because microgreens are harvested early, they naturally contain a wide variety of beneficial plant compounds:

  • Carotenoids
  • Flavonoids
  • Phenolic compounds
  • Glucosinolates (including sulforaphane)
  • Chlorophyll
  • Other phytonutrients

They work alongside vitamins and minerals and can help support your body's antioxidant defenses, a healthy inflammatory response, and normal detoxification pathways.*

Frequently Asked Questions

Microgreens are young vegetable greens harvested at their peak of nutrient density. At this stage of growth, many microgreens contain significantly higher concentrations of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and beneficial plant compounds than their mature vegetable counterparts.

We spent two years developing a growing process that doesn’t exist anywhere else. Our microgreens are grown in the same soil NASA uses at the space center. The facility uses high-level water filtration, controlled temperature and humidity, and circadian lighting so plants aren’t stressed. The microgreens are harvested and freeze-dried within 48 hours to lock in nutrients, then tested to meet strict quality standards.

Hydroponics is a growing method that uses water instead of soil. While common in commercial greens production, we believe soil is what makes microgreens truly nutrient-dense. Our microgreens are grown in clean soil that is rich in beneficial microbes which can support nutrient absorption in ways hydroponic systems can’t replicate. Our specialized soil also helps reduce heavy metal uptake while preserving nutritional value.*

Just Ingredients Microgreens may support healthy antioxidant defenses, immune function, normal detoxification pathways, cellular health, and overall wellness.* They can also help fill nutritional gaps when vegetable intake falls short.
