Unlike many companies that use the general term 'Natural Flavors' to label their fruit flavorings without disclosing specific ingredients, we are transparent about our formulation. It's worth noting that part of these natural flavorings also includes a starch component. Most companies rely on fruit powders that contain corn maltodextrin as their starch, which is derived from a genetically modified (GMO) crop. We took the extra step to source custom-made fruit powders from an ingredient manufacturer that uses rice starch or tapioca starch from the cassava root as a better choice alternative.
