Frequently Asked Questions

Most powders rely on whey alone, which gives you one amino acid profile and tends to upset digestion in larger doses. We use four real food sources in smaller amounts for a fuller amino acid range that's easier on your stomach. Whey and pea support muscle, chia adds fiber, and collagen supports skin, joints, and bones.

Four to five real food sources, depending on the flavor: grass-fed whey, pea, pumpkin seed, chia seed, and collagen. We blend them on purpose, because no single protein covers everything. Together they give a more complete amino acid profile than one source could alone.

It's far less likely to. Most powders use only whey, and a big dose of whey alone is what bothers most people. We use four to five proteins in smaller amounts, plus non-denatured whey with no casein and very little lactose, so even whey-sensitive people tend to do well.

Protein powder is great for those that have a hard time getting enough protein in during a day. Protein, fat, and carbs are the 3 macronutrients our body needs. Some don't get enough protein in each day and a protein powder supplement can help. Do you know how much protein you eat per day?

The basic flavor that isn’t basic 💕

"We LOVE the French vanilla protein powder. It goes with everything and tastes great on its own. No nasty after taste. It’s just so good ! I add it to pancakes, have it as a smoothie, mixed in my oatmeal … amazing"

favorite vanilla protein powder

"if you don’t like cinnamon, this is the vanilla for you! I tried the regular vanilla and did not like, but this one is perfect! use it in my coffee, protein balls, add to smoothies, etc. love this flavor!"

French vanilla protein powder

"This is the best tasting vanilla protein I’ve tried. The vanilla flavor is hard to master and this one is great. My family primarily adds this to Greek yogurt fruit bowls. Also great for baking protein banana bread."

Tansey H. (4/5)

Delicious pairing with my morning coffee

"I use multiple J. I. Protein powders throughout the week to add a morning protein boost to my coffee routine. The French Vanilla is creamy and more flavorful to me than the regular vanilla. In the photo I submitted - I just blended organic Fabula Buttery Caramel Coffee, 1 scoop French Vanilla protein powder, vanilla almond milk, and a titch of organic salted caramel creamer. You wouldn’t need to add creamer because the protein powder acts as a creamer - today I wanted a bit of Carmel taste mixed in. Usually I use the J. I. Salted Caramel protein powder in my daily coffee. That one is my favorite!"

Sara (5/5)

Yum

"I’ve been putting this into my iced coffee and it goes perfectly with a little bit of creamer or milk. I’ve found if I mix with the dairy and a little bit of the coffee it mixes better smoothly rather than mixing with just coffee it isn’t as smooth."

Megan R. (4/5)

The BEST vanilla

"I love this protein powder for everything. The taste, consistency, and ingredients are unmatched."

Katie C. (5/5)

So good!

"I have loved adding this to coffee instead of creamer. As a protein shake, it tastes like a vanilla milkshake! Love being able to add whatever mix-ins I want as well!"

Lindsey G. (5/5)

My favorite!

"This vanilla protein powder goes with anything! Frozen fruit, yogurt, baking. I mix mine with frozen dark cherries or blueberries in a shake and it’s delicious!"

Ludtke (5/5)

I love this protein powder!

"I love this protein powder! The texture and flavor are the best I’ve found with great ingredients."

Q&A

Does the monk fruit extract used contain erythritol?
Hi there! Great question, our monk fruit is 100% pure with no erythritol added. A lot of brands do mix erythritol into their monk fruit, but not us! You’re getting just the monk fruit, nothing else. Let us know if you have any other questions, we’re happy to help!
What is an appropriate serving size of this for a young child (3 years old) in a day? My son has this almost every day mixed into yogurt or a banana & nut butter breakfast bowl ~ it just occurred to me that I don’t know how much is really safe to mix in.
Thanks so much for reaching out! Our products are formulated for adult use, so we always recommend consulting your child’s pediatrician before giving any supplement to a 3-year-old. They’ll be able to advise on what serving size, if any, would be appropriate based on your child’s needs.
Is there free shipping on monthly subscriptions? If not, what is the monthly shipping fee for 1 package of protein powder?
Great question! Final shipping costs are determined at checkout, all US orders over $125 after discounts ship free.
Can this protein powder be mixed with coffee and does temperature of the coffee matter? I work early mornings and don't have time for breakfast so I'm trying to make the most out of my morning cup of Joe lol.
Yes, our protein can absolutely be heated without affecting its nutritional value. Whether you're baking, cooking, or mixing it into warm dishes or beverages, the protein itself remains intact and effective. That said, if you're using one of our blends that includes chia protein, we recommend avoiding high heat like boiling or simmering. Chia can become gummy or gel-like at high temperatures, which could change the texture of your final recipe. For best results, we suggest adding the protein closer to the end of cooking or keeping the heat at a moderate level throughout.
can i put the protein powder in coffee?
The protein can be heated without the protein being damaged. If it is brought to simmer or boil the chia protein can become gummy, so you won’t want to get it too hot.
